Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By making a booking with Go Direct Passenger Transport Services (“Go Direct”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Bookings
Bookings may be made via our website, email, phone, social media, or other approved booking methods.
To confirm a booking, we require:
- Passenger name
- Pick-up address
- Destination
- Date and time of travel
- Contact phone number
- Email address
- Flight details (where applicable)
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all booking information is accurate.
3. Fares and Payment
All quoted prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Unless otherwise agreed:
- Payment is required before or at the commencement of travel.
- We accept approved payment methods advised at the time of booking.
- Additional charges may apply for extra stops, waiting time, route changes, tolls, parking, or services requested after the original booking.
4. Airport Transfers
For airport pick-ups:
- We monitor commercial flight arrival times where flight details have been provided.
- Flight delays on commercial airlines will not incur additional charges where reasonably accommodated.
- Customers must provide accurate flight numbers.
- If incorrect or incomplete flight information is supplied, additional waiting charges may apply.
For airport departures:
- Customers are responsible for booking a suitable collection time.
- Go Direct accepts no responsibility for missed flights where delays are caused by traffic incidents, road closures, weather, emergencies, or other events outside our reasonable control.
5. Waiting Time
Our quoted fares include a reasonable collection period.
- Additional waiting time may be charged where passengers are not ready at the agreed collection time.
- If we are unable to contact the customer after a reasonable period, the booking may be treated as a no-show.
6. Cancellations
Cancellations made:
- More than 24 hours before the booking – no cancellation fee.
- Less than 24 hours before the booking – may incur a cancellation fee.
- After the driver has been dispatched or where the passenger is a no-show – may be charged up to the full fare.
Refunds are provided at our discretion where appropriate.
7. No-Shows
A booking will be considered a no-show where:
- The passenger cannot be contacted.
- The passenger fails to present within the agreed waiting period.
- Incorrect collection information has been provided.
No-shows may be charged the full quoted fare.
8. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must:
- Treat drivers respectfully.
- Follow all lawful directions from the driver.
- Wear seatbelts where required by law.
- Avoid behaviour that may place others at risk.
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey where passengers:
- Become abusive or threatening.
- Are violent.
- Cause damage to the vehicle.
- Engage in illegal activity.
- Place the driver or other passengers at risk.
In these circumstances, no refund will be provided.
9. Alcohol and Drugs
Passengers who are excessively intoxicated or affected by drugs may be refused transport where the driver believes safety or vehicle cleanliness may be compromised.
Cleaning or repair costs resulting from passenger damage will be charged to the customer.
10. Luggage
Standard luggage is included within the quoted fare where it fits safely within the vehicle.
Oversized, excessive, or unusual luggage should be disclosed when booking.
- We reserve the right to refuse luggage that cannot be transported safely.
- Passengers remain responsible for ensuring they collect all personal belongings before leaving the vehicle.
11. Child Seats
Child restraints can be provided where requested at the time of booking, subject to availability.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the child’s age and size to ensure the appropriate restraint is available.
12. Vehicle Availability
While every effort is made to provide the booked vehicle, Go Direct reserves the right to substitute another suitable vehicle where necessary.
13. Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Traffic accidents
- Road closures
- Severe weather
- Police activity
- Mechanical breakdowns
- Industrial action
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law:
- Our liability is limited to the value of the transport service provided.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, missed appointments, accommodation costs, or business losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
15. Lost Property
We will make reasonable efforts to return lost property.
- Collection or postage costs are the responsibility of the owner.
- Unclaimed property may be disposed of after a reasonable period.
16. Privacy
We collect personal information solely for the purpose of providing our transport services.
Your information will be handled in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and will not be sold to third parties.
17. Insurance
Go Direct Passenger Transport Services operates fully licensed vehicles and maintains:
- Comprehensive Motor Vehicle Insurance
- Public Liability Insurance
- All licences and approvals required to provide passenger transport services in Western Australia
18. Changes to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice. The version published on our website at the time of booking applies.
19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
